12 modules. 30 couples per cohort. An earned Certificate of Formation. The same Five Pillars framework, with guided instruction, cohort accountability, and personal feedback.
The Five Pillars Workbook, 25 Conversations Guide, and all other free resources on this site contain the actual frameworks. The knowledge itself is free and always will be. The Formation Course exists for couples who want structured guidance, cohort-based accountability, and the depth that comes from working through the material with feedback.
The difference between reading about valid consent and being formed in it is the difference between knowing the route on a map and having walked the road with a guide.
Each module covers a specific aspect of marital formation, from the five pillars of valid consent to the practical realities of lifelong commitment. Includes reflection questions and couple exercises.
A structured companion workbook with reflection exercises designed for each module. Couples work through the material individually and then discuss together.
Each cohort is limited to 30 couples. This creates a small enough group for genuine community while providing the accountability that self-study often lacks.
Awarded to couples who demonstrate genuine understanding of the five pillars. The certificate is earned, not automatic. Simply completing the course does not guarantee it.
"The certificate is earned, not automatic. This is deliberate. It should mean something real, both to the couple who earns it and to the parish that may reference it."
The course is not open enrollment. Each application is reviewed to ensure the program is the right fit. Couples who are not accepted are directed to the free resources, which contain the same core knowledge.
Apply for the Next CohortApplications reviewed within 5-7 days.
